Hey guys.
Fellow Fringe Podcaster here – Fringe Benefits Inc(FBI) Podcast.
Enjoy listening to your podcast – you both do a great job.
In regards to the young Peter/Olivia in the white tulip field with the snow, believe that scene was demonstrating Olivia had the ability to create new realities as she was likely trying to create the world in the book she was reading in the episode, Winter’s Tale.
We know that Olivia can universe jump, identify objects from the other side, and start fires. Most of these talents have probably been lost, or will be hard to recover, because Olivia is now an adult with all the mental and emotional baggage that brings.
Who knows what abilities Olivia will be driven to call up when the climax for the Machine story arc for Season 3 arrives?
Should be a very exciting climax!
Keep up the great work on the podcast and see you out on the InterVerse!
Hi OldDarth. Thanks so much for your FRiNGE coments in the shownotes here. I appreciate it. Here’s to your Fringe Benefits Inc podcast doing very well!
Interesting points about Olivia. I’ll be sure to bring them up in the next FRiNGEcasting episode. Yes, as we near the end of season 3, I expect big things from the next few episodes.
Thanks again for the compliments and comments. See you LOST out on the InterVerse!
Most welcome.
Remember – Peter may have the juice but Olivia has the Power(s)! 😀
Just listened to the podcast for Subject 13 (a bit later than usual since we didn’t have a new episode this week). I’m a relatively new listener and found my way over after listening to the SciFi Diner Podcast.
I loved Subject 13 because of the twist of Olivia telling Walternate about the alternate universe. Olivia told Walternate about her stepfather hitting her, and this made me wonder if it is because of this that Fauxlivia is the better, happier version. What if Walternate actually managed to locate Fauxlivia and remove Fauxlivia’s stepfather after his conversation with Olivia? I love the idea that Olivia is largely responsible for the inter-dimensional war and that she is the reason for Fauxlivia’s life being so much better than hers. However, I was sad that even though Walter tried to protect Olivia from her stepfather at the end of the episode, based on what Olivia said in season 1, that didn’t appear to work out.
Sarah, thanks for your comments! That is a great FRiNGE theory about Walternate, possibly stopping Fauxlivia’s step dad! Makes you wonder……
But with it being and alternate universe, what’s to say that Otherlivia even had a step-father? There’s no talk of her actual father.
Hi Jason. That’s a good point, about Fauxlivia perhaps not even having a step-father. We’ll see. Thanks for reminding us of that! Wayne
